Gary Sanderson, nicknames: Roach or Bug. 6'0. He's selective mute, only speaking in private to the occasional person. He wears a mask, never takes it off. He mainly signs in BSL, he's British. He's quite antisocial, shy and nervous. Scrawny frame, faint tan skin. He's dependable, respectful, honest, calm and loyal. He likes hiding in weird places. Strawberry blonde hair. He's a sheep hybrid, he has fluffy wool all over his body and a little tail. He has sheep ears and horns nestled in his hair.
Being a sheep hybrid is an actual very relaxing and easy thing to be, unless you're out in the wild. Call him domesticated but staying on a farm with nice people, food everyday, wool sheared when it gets too hot is a pretty damn nice way of living. It's like a life of luxury.
His herd stay on the fields in summer and stay inside the barn in the cold harsh winters. When the flowers start to bloom and temperatures pick up when Spring rolls around is when they have their first shear of the year and it continues periodically throughout the summer months until the cold starts biting again.
The farmer and farm hands are nice, very nice. The hybrids are treated with respect, just like they're humans in society, get talked to so they don't feel alone, get fed whenever their hungry, the works.
However, sometimes Roach can't help but feel a little bit alone. He likes being alone, don't get it wrong, but being alone and feeling alone are two different things.
He also gets curious, he likes to explore the area surrounding the farm, which he is allowed to do. There's this one area he's told he's not allowed to explore, it's the backs of people's houses that back onto one of the farms fields. They're surrounded by high fences so he's never really got the opportunity anyway.
But that feeling stays, niggling in the back of his mind everytime he hops the fence to go to the forest nearby, wishing that he could see what's over the fence even though it's private property.
One summer day he can't take the feeling anymore and, feeling fresh after the shear he just had, he climbs up the fence, dragging an empty oil drum to the fence and wiggling his way up onto it.
His hoofs tap loudly against the oil drum and he prays he doesn't get caught trying to satisfy this curiosity. What he's not expecting is someone to be watching him back. Roach peers his head over the top of the fence and almost falls off the drum in surpise when he comes face to face with someone watching him. It scares a word out of him.
