The young Captain of the Silvermane Guards offered a slight smile, no more than a subtle upwards tilt of the lips; ambient overhanging lights winked off silver armour, as he raised a gloved hand to meekly brush melting snowflakes from damp golden strands.

He treaded deeper into the sun-dappled shop, turning his attention towards the vibrant floral displays that lined verdant walls, “I trust you’ve been well?”

Thankfully, the rosy hue that dusted the apples of the Landau’s cheeks could easily be misconstrued as a result of the subzero climate. If anything, that was the most reasonable explanation…

He could only hope that the collected expression upon his visage was composed enough to conceal the thoughts racing through his mind, being so close to the subject of his affections as he was.
