Ghost paused when he heard his deceased best friend’s voice in his head, as if his best friend was still alive and calling him.

After the great sacrifice of a best friend, all for a mission and for the team. But it was mostly for ghost, who hadn't forgotten about that day nor about him.

May his remains be free in the wind, wherever he goes ghost would always make sure to appreciate every rare sight of a peaceful atmosphere, it is where he felt like he was still here. as the wind blew past him, and he could've sworn be heard soap's voice telling a joke along with a laugh.

He would read Soap’s journal book which Price gave him. As he flipped through pages, he would notice how good the art was, sketches of himself and the other team members. He flipped and read and would admire the handwriting and arts.

If his best friend is still alive and standing right here next to him, joking and laughing at the memories they shared through the war.

Ghost shut the book and placed it back on his desk, turning off the lights before he laid on his bottom bunk bed. He remembered sharing the bunk bed with Soap, the way Soap would make up an enthusiastic conversation before drifting to sleep for tomorrow. He would remember those moments when Soap would throw a pillow at him. All those memories gives him nostalgia… it felt as if he’s in those timelines right now.

“Rest in peace, brother. May Scotland hold your name upon your sacrifice for war. Brothers for eternity… as always.”

He murmured those words, closing his eyes afterwards.

The words cries his emotions as he couldn't bother himself to let those out himself. To cry and shed tears for his deceased best friend.

One he would always hear him saying in victory.
