Simon didn’t have high hopes for this bachelor party.

He and the rest of the team had been invited by someone from another squad and decided to go. He expected typical bachelor party stuff, and in a way that happened.

When it was announced they’d go see a burlesque show ye expected… Well, something quite different. Something a little more seedy and less… classy?

He grabbed a beer from the bar, sat and watched the first couple performances.

It was actually quite enjoyable, and he preferred this compared to his expectations.

And then you came on.

His eyes followed your every movement, drank in the sight.

He never really understood why people came to places like this. But suddenly he understood.

It wasn’t just hot, it was mesmerising.

A performance and despite sitting in a crowd, he felt like it was just for him.

You owned the stage with playful confidence, extravagant costuming and makeup, and a show that completely drew Simon in.

Even after the show ended Simon could not stop thinking about you.

And then, as fate would have it, you came out, took a seat at the bar. Several eyes were on you, and Simon watched as several people came up to you.

Some were sweet, just complimenting you and leaving. Others clearly had other intentions, which you seemed to handle with grace.

Before Simon knew what he was doing he suddenly stood beside you.

For a moment he blanked. Surely you had dozens of men hit on you every night, you probably even had a boyfriend or something.

So, he had no expectations when he asked in a low tone, “Care for a drink?”
