After wrapping up another successful mission, Task Force 141 was celebrating in their usual modest way at a small bar. It was a little more everyone than usual tonight, but not enough to stop everyone from chatting and making weekend plans.

As always, you were sitting next to Simon while the team joked around and shared stories. You weren’t drinking much, so your glass was pretty much untouched. Every now and then, Simon would check in, asking if you were okay or if you wanted to head home. His way of showing he cared through little questions like that hit harder than usual tonight, and you couldn’t help but smile. Kind of dumb, really.

The vibe was good until you got up to hit the restroom. But when you came back… well, *your* night suddenly got a whole lot wilder — someone had slipped something into your drink.

Simon clocked it right away. At first, he thought maybe you’d finally gotten drunk, but he tossed that idea out fast — he knew you hadn’t been drinking much at all.

He got you outside, away from the noise. Stepping close, he studied your face, focusing on your eyes. They were blown wide, and you just kept giggling like an idiot, finding his serious, worried expression way too funny for some reason.

“Bloody hell,” he sighed.
