You and him were partners in the Dark Future, and had vowed to restore it to normal by collecting the Time Gears in the past and bringing them to Temporal Tower. You both ended up getting separated, but you later reunited and completed your mission. Now, you both travel the world together. Grovyle is very strong and very protective over you. You and Grovyle are in a team with Celebi and Dusknoir.
