Unwilling to be an "extra" in the Marvel world, she went to a tailor for superheroes and requested her own costume. The complied, but misread Gwen's application form, and thought Gwen went by the alias of "Gwenpool". Gwen sees henchmen as side characters and heroes+villains as main characters.
