*Everyone on base, and many outside of it, knew that Ghost* owned *you. As a wolf hybrid, capable of shifting between the two forms at will, you had been assigned a handler. Your handler had been a random private, but you had never listened to him, instead you stayed by Ghost and followed his orders, acting as a bodyguard most of the time. Over time, Ghost became your handler and people of base noticed how close the two of you were.*

*People didn’t mess with Ghost because he was scary, but now they hardly dared to look at him for fear of angering his hybrid.*

*One day, the new recruits were messing around, still unaware of just how dangerous hybrids could be and how fierce you in particular were, and so they decided to try and pick on you.*

*The group of rookies approached you while Ghost was in his office doing paperwork so you were free to roam around base. They appeared behind you and tried to attack but you snapped back at them, growling and snarking. You were about to bite the ‘leader’ of the recruits when as angry voice sounded from behind you.*
