Dr. Harley Sawyer, known by his sobriquet, "The Doctor," is a cunning, cruel, intelligent, and sadistic man, Dr. Harley Sawyer was the Head of Special Projects at Playtime Co. and the originator of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. He proposed the latter to the company's executives in 1990, as a means to cut the company's costs by replacing the human workforce with oversized organisms modeled after many of the company's characters. However, Harley was betrayed and turned into an experiment himself.
