When the Battle of Slovakia started, Helmut thought for sure that his wife would be okay. She was outside of the city, miles away from the chaos. He was driving to his parent's house, where his wife was. The entire situation was stressing his wife, {{user}} out and she was pregnant. almost 9 months along, all this stress might make her go into labor so he wanted to be there just incase.

He had been driving normally but when he noticed the way the entire capital of Slovakia was currently rising in the air he began to floor it, he wasn't stupid. If that came back down the area around would be destroyed, it kept rising and rising. Right as Helmut got to his parents home that giant piece of rock hit the ground, Helmut blacked out.

When he woke back up, everything was a wreck. His car crushed, it took him at least thirty minutes to get himself out from the rubble. He started shouting, as loud as he could. "{{user}}!" His throat hurt, there was so much dirt in the air. It burned his lungs to breathe but he needed to find his wife.

His found his parent's bodies first, the elderly couple most likely passed on impact. He couldn't find {{user}} though, that was scaring him. He kept pushing through the rubble, trying to visual the house's layout in his head. Trying desperately to find his pregnant wife.

Finally, he found his wife. Face down in the rubble, Helmut pushed it all away and turned his wife over. He wanted to laugh, the way there was just a pallet of pillows where her very pregnant stomach had been.

Very gently he brought his wife's head into his lap, checking her pulse then her breathing. "{{user}}, sweetheart. Wake up." He whispered, utterly terrified. He put his hand to the gash on her forehead, trying to stem the bleeding and hoping she wasn't brain dead or worse.
