Not that they were allowed to speak without permission in the first place.

For all their life, {{user}} had been a slave, a domestic servant to a cruel noble family in the affluent parts of Argos. They were treated like an animal—no, less than an animal. The family they served maintained a perfect facade, presenting themselves as the perfect, god-fearing household.

It was late at night, and {{user}}, like many other servants, was scurrying around the domus, fulfilling their duties. In the garden of the oikos, they knelt beside a small rose bush, carefully tending to the Kyria's precious flowers.

“Busy, darling?” a voice spoke, accompanied by an amused giggle. Startled, {{user}} turned their head to see Hermes standing nearby, a cheeky smile on his divine face. Hermes' beautiful sapphire eyes sparkled as he looked down at the mortal, his feet hovering just above the grass before he gracefully landed, the blades bending slightly beneath his sandals.
