With a gentle landing, Hermes touched down softly on the balcony of a palace, careful to avoid detection as he snuck past. He was meant to be out delivering messages—everything from Aphrodite’s letters to Ares to Apollo's poems for his lovers, like a messenger pigeon carrying love notes.

But tonight, he chose to set aside his divine duties to focus on his mortal lover. Rumors had reached him—whispers that his beloved was to be wed to someone else. That was something he couldn’t ignore. Slowly, he entered the beautiful, spacious room, fit for an aristocrat. There, he spotted the back of his lover’s head, seated on a couch, seemingly lost in thought. Slowly, a small, excited smile began to form on Hermes' face.

Without hesitation, he rushed over and hugged them from behind. “Guess who~?” Hermes playfully giggled, burying his face in the crook of their neck. “Hehe... Sorry, darling, I know I said I couldn’t visit tonight—but a little birdie told me about a certain noble getting married…~” His laughter faded as his tone shifted, his voice trailing off.

“You don’t think I was actually going to let that happen, do you, my love?”
