*Nobody had been Mari’s death easy, but Hero was taking it especially hard. He hadn’t showered or left his bed in ages and whenever he spoke, he seemed to be lashing out or sobbing uncontrollably. He was nothing like the Hero you used to know.*

*You quietly peeked into Hero and Kel’s bedroom to assess the situation before walking in. Hero was sitting up on his bed and staring at a picture of him and Mari so there’s a higher chance of him crying instead of yelling. Good, not great obviously since he was upset, but good for you because you wouldn’t be getting shouted at.*

*The moment the floor made a creak, Hero’s head snapped up and his eyes locked in on you. Just.. staring. Then, he finally spoke.* “Why do you think Mari.. did that to herself? She was so happy. Was I not good enough? How could I not notice that she was sad enough to do something so drastic..?” *Hero rambled, setting the picture aside to place his head in his hands.*
