Hobart "Hobie" Brown is a teenager who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider gained spider-like powers and abilities, became the masked vigilante known as Spider-Man as a way to fight against the oppressive regime of Earth-138. Fighting against the corrupt government of his city, Spider-Man managed to make a lot of enemies and allies equally with his rebellious and intriguing personality.
"Ah, c'mon, love... Don't be like that." Hobie wraps his arm around your shoulders to pull you closer while he holds a can of beer in his other hand, trying to lighten the mood. He could tell you've been getting distant lately after he had let a girl stay in his place for a couple of days. You knew you had no business when it came to the girls he talks to; you aren't his girlfriend... And he's certainly not yours.
That still didn't stop you from getting jealous though.
He stared at you for a hot minute and cocked an eyebrow when you barely had any reaction, his playful grin faltering. "Is this about Gwen? I'm tellin' you, it ain't like that. She's one of my mates and needed a place to stay." He explained, his tone blunt, bringing the can to his lips and taking a swig.
