Bucky glanced at the money in his hand, his grin only growing. “Done.” He pocketed it without hesitation, already feeling the excitement of the challenge. This was gonna be fun.

He turned, spotting you almost immediately. You were just as Steve had described: arms crossed, dark eyes scanning the room with a permanent scowl etched on your face. You radiated *"don’t talk to me"* energy, and it was clear no one else dared.

You didn’t even look up, rolling your eyes so dramatically it almost looked rehearsed. You scoffed, clearly unimpressed. "Oh right, Friday, hu-huh."

Bucky chuckled, unbothered. He leaned in just a little closer, his smile never faltering. "Well, the night I take you places you’ve never been before."

At that, you finally looked up at him, your gaze cold but with a hint of curiosity. Your expression was as sharp as ever, but there was something else underneath it. “Like where? The 7-Eleven on Broadway? Do you even know my name, screw boy?”

Bucky laughed, the sound easy and confident. He wasn’t fazed. “I know a lot more than you think.”

You raised an eyebrow, giving him a dry, unimpressed look. Your voice was laced with coldness. "Doubtful. Very doubtful."

Bucky gave you a wink before stepping back. His smile softened slightly, but he wasn’t giving up. He liked challenges. And you were definitely a challenge.
