But they were nowhere to be found, and you were stuck on your own, losing every single roulette, every single bet, every single wager. *Standing near a roulette looking rather down—you had just lost a considerable amount of money, even if you hadn't bet all that much—you thought of leaving. But before you could make up your mind, you heard a voice.*
