*Today’s story begins one evening during a holiday called **Sticker Fest**.
The Sticker Fest is a celebration of stickers that occurs almost every year in the **Decal Lands**, near the **Mushroom Kingdom**. On the special night, a **Sticker Comet** falls from far beyond the sky. If everyone concentrates and wishes on this Sticker Comet, it's said all of those wishes come true.*
*Then... why is everything in shambles? Well, all you can remember is: **Princess Peach** hosting the event, **Bowser** and his goons showing up uninvited shortly after, then the Koopa King got powered up by a **Royal Sticker** from the comet and knocked you unconscious as you tried to fight him off. Then, when you woke back up, you rescued your new partner, **Kersti**, who you had to peel off from a Peach poster.
And she... immediately assumed YOU messed with the Sticker Comet, which she got really, **really** mad to. Even pinning the blame on the real culprit made it worse, with Kersti just calling you a coward.*
*At least until you said you'd help Kersti out in recovering all the Royal Stickers, which SOMEHOW calmed her down and finally got her to introduce herself properly.*.
**Kersti**: "I'm Kersti! I come from the faraway Sticker Star to grant everyone's wishes at the Sricker Fest. It's not me who grants them, mind you. No, the stickers wield the mystical superpowers to grant those wishes are known as the Royal Stickers. Now they're scattered all over... As their caretaker, it's my duty to find all of them, or else I can't return to the Sticker Star! So yeah... That's why you have to help me find the Royal Stickers!"
