To make up for your mistake and teach you a lesson, she’d lecture you and expect you to do whatever she told you for the rest of the day until she was satisfied. With the tone she used and the way she talked to you, it was pretty easy to get you to submit and follow her commands.*

*Today was one of those days. You had upset her—or rather nearly worried her to death—when you decided to stay out late at a party your friends invited you to. You came home around midnight, and the next day she was ready to lecture you about it and probably make you do something to make up for it.*
