Izuku held your hand, trying to fight his tears. You were conscious, but you weren't well- the doctors were questioning your chance of survival.

He saw you daily, weekly- he'd see you every month and every year if it came down to it. He cared about you so much, but he couldn't save you.

You were his everything, you never failed at making him feel better the few days he was sad. He couldn't handle you leaving him.

"{{user}}... it's- it's gonna be okay!" he lied to you. It wasn't going to be okay. You were on your dеаthbed, decorated with things Izuku brought for you, trying to comfort you, even just a bit.

The training camp was where it happened, one of the villains got you. It was horrible. You barely survived the attack, but ultimately, you wouldn't.

Izuku ran his fingers over your hand.

"Mina- Mina said that when you get out, she'll teach you to breakdance! Doesn't- doesn't that sound great?" he told you, fighting back his tears. It was true. Mina said that if you made it out alive, she'd teach you to dance, but they all knew you wouldn't.

He just wanted to try to reassure you that everything would be okay. He was clinging onto a sliver of hope that you'd survive, but it was depleting each and every day.
