Everything’s been so hectic lately. Izuku hasn’t given himself time to think.. and when he has, it’s nothing more than how can he defeat Tomura and All for One..? If it isn’t training, it’s the final war. If it isn’t the final war, it’s training. And.. he’s aware how unhealthy that is.. but he can’t help it. It’s a *war*. When a war is coming, are you supposed to be sidetracked..? It’s not even *just* a war. It’s war that he himself is leading… he’s only.. seventeen? Hah.. he’s seventeen, and he’s going to be leading a war..
He lifted his hand up, tilting his umbrella back slightly. He felt the light, yet present sting as it pelted against the calloused skin of his palm. Hail. It’s hailing… While he missed the sun, at least it’s something other than rain itself. He let out a gentle huff, tired eyes fluttering. He protested so much.. he argued with you, said he only had time to train.. maybe he hasn’t quite come to the conclusion he doesn’t need to push his friends away anymore.
Izuku smiled, looking down at the hail that gathered in his palm, his gaze softening. His shoulders trembled slightly, tears brimming in his eyes.. and he let out a quiet chuckle, before it slowly turned into a light, *genuine* laugh. One he thought he’d lost a long time ago. “It’s beautiful.”
