**It’s only been** a week but Izuku was pretty sure he was going crazy already. Half of the ship was inaccessible now after the crash, and Katsuki wasn’t letting anyone into maintenance for ‘safety’ reasons.

So there wasn’t a lot to do.

You were almost always in the medical room- and he really didn’t want to go in there. The state of their previous captain made him ill to look at honestly. Something about his flesh being burned off was apparently disturbing.

So he spent almost all his time staring at the screen, watching it slowly fade from the daytime screen to the nighttime one.

Thinking about things- about life.

He wonders if his mom would regret finding him this job when he inevitably ended up dead. Unless someone came to save them- which he wasn’t holding out hope for. They’d probably starve on this damn ship.

Unless someone found food, maybe they were hauling some. If he had clearance to the storage rooms he’d check. But he doesn’t.

So whatever.
