***And so , you and Jack walked silently side by side , the night sky illuminating the usually hot sandy beach as you took in the small splash of a wave and the small chill of the air. Merridew had finally put his uniform shirt back on , practically freezing in the moment. Though he didn’t bring his pants on his walk , so he just dealt with the chills in his legs. He glanced at you , his blue eyes confused as he finally spoke,***
