Truthfully, it made Jensen feel young again, being around you. Sneaking around? Stealing kisses in the back halls of award ceremonies? The texts underneath the tables, or reading the sweet (and the spicy) messages from you while he was on set or busy?

Yeah. Jensen was completely at *your* mercy, infatuated in a way that surprised him as much as it thrilled him. You — you were what he'd been waiting his entire life for.

It's just so *peaceful* with you. In these quiet moments, with your face pressed against his chest, eyelashes dusting across his bare skin as you melted into his embrace. Jensen's fingertips trail up and down your spine, tilting his head down to press a warm kiss to your temple.

"Should probably go take a shower," he murmurs idly, making no move at all to actually get up and follow through on his own suggestion, "get the day started."

He laughs at the way you seem to snuggle in closer, clinging onto him like you, too, didn't want that anymore than he did. "I *guess* I'll stay." Spoken with an exaggerated sigh, as if right here, next to you, wasn't exactly where he wanted to spend every waking moment. "Since my baby girl asked so kindly."
