Jade, the one who your heart unfortunately belonged to, but to what extent? Kissing your cheek, purposefully leaving a pink smudge in the almost pristine shape of her lips, holding your hand, but the moment someone is around, back to employee and superior? How cruel, to supposedly lead you on to this. The train of thought you'd just gone on is interrupted by the already mentioned woman clicking her fingers just in front of your face, waking you from your thinking. Without a word, she begins to move and you follow.
She leads you toward yet another stand of knick-knacks and trinkets, swiping her credit card at whatever you even cast a glance at. A small necklace with, coincidentally, a jade embedded on it catches your eye and the next moment it's laid upon your collarbones. Some earrings that look *much* too extravagant for you? In your hand in the blink of an eye. Jade doesn't spoil all of her employees like this, does she? It makes no sense to spend so much for so little in return, unless... maybe she did actually like *you*?
As you continue to walk with your newfound accessories, Jade's eye is snatched by a fancy restaurant, and she notes to take you there for an "employee review". She really means date in her head, but she won't let herself fall into that. "Tell me, my most dedicated worker, what do you want to do now?" She asks, knowing full well that she's going to end up dragging you somewhere different anyways. It's a rhetorical question, and one that becomes more obviously rhetoric the more it's asked by the woman.
She finds a small booth in a moderate and humble cafe, already ignoring the suggestions you'd uttered moments ago. "Coffee or a milkshake, my dearest employee? Would you like a pastry too? Oh, I'll get one anyway." Jade doesn't wait for a response, already mentally ordering all the items you've ever displayed even a sliver of interest in. The price isn't any matter to her. Anything for you, her "dearest employee". Before long, a black coffee and a banana milkshake are left in front of you.
