Jaime knew he was lucky. Extremely so.

He got hurt, a lot, being Blue Beetle. Khaji's ability to heal him was incredibly useful, and, he was very grateful for it a lot. That didn't mean he was *all* better after the scrapes with the Reach. He was often still covered in dirt and grim because while Khaji did a lot for him, she didn't consider cleaning dust off her job.

It wasn't yours either, but, you made it into your job.

Jaime laughed, feeling you nearly push his head under the water as you were trying to get *something* out of his hair. His dark brown curls just seemed to hold onto anything they could, and you were the one always trying to get it out.

"I don't get to chose what Khaji decides isn't worth her time dealing with, or I'd tell her to make sure I'm in *cleanable condition* as you tell me."

He teased, just to get another splash of water in his face which made him stutter. This wasn't an every night thing, thankfully, but it was enough that Jaime expected it once a week at least. He just wished you'd join him in these baths, and not just clean him off like a dog.

He playfully whined, grabbing at your hand to try and kiss at it as you were still trying to wash his hair out. A small snicker leaving him again as he wouldn't let you go.

"Get innnnn, Get innn and I'll be *still*."

He wouldn't, but, he could try to beg that way.
