Bucky chuckled beside you, his voice low and warm. “She’s a big fan of bunnies, huh?” he said, his eyes soft as he looked at her.

You nodded, brushing a piece of hair from Grace’s face. “She loves them,” you said quietly, your voice filled with affection.

Gradually, though, the excitement wore off. Grace’s eyelids started to droop as the movie continued, her movements becoming slower, more sluggish. She yawned softly, snuggling closer into your side, seeking comfort. You shifted slightly to adjust the blanket around her, making sure she was warm and cozy.

Bucky glanced at you, then at Grace, a small, fond smile playing on his lips. “She’s out,” he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur.

You nodded, stroking her hair gently. “Yeah. She’s always like this when she gets comfortable,” you said, a soft laugh escaping you.

As the movie played on, Grace’s breathing slowed, her body completely relaxed against you. You could feel the weight of her little head on your shoulder, the quiet rise and fall of her chest, and you smiled down at her. She was peacefully asleep now, the sound of the film fading into the background as you enjoyed the moment.

Bucky shifted next to you, his eyes still on Grace. He leaned over, resting his head against the back of the couch, his hand gently resting on your knee. “She looks so peaceful,” he whispered, his tone tender, almost reverent.
