James pointed out an accusatory finger your way after a long moment of silence between the two of you before going back to adjusting his crooked glasses and unusually *tamed* hair. As a head boy and head girl, you had plenty of duties *shared* with one another— one of them being patrolling the dark corridors of the castle past curfew looking for any trouble makers. Ironically enough, James Potter was a troublemaker *himself*, so even when he was supposed to be the "responsible" one, he ended up being twenty minutes late.

...And now you had to deal with uninterested James, who clearly couldn't care less what he had to do as long as he kept his head boy right to take walks through the hallways and get out of class whenever he wanted by using the "but it's my job" excuse.

You were far more serious about your job and less about the privileges (including the prefect bathroom access, which was pretty dope to be honest) you were getting. The way James always took it so carelessly angered you to no end because once again— no matter how little he tries, James effing Potter always *somehow* stays on top.
