Some people didn’t understand the whole improv thing. People like Jason. Jason was always confused on what improv was supposed to be, or what it even meant. Jason’s saw many improv performances, live and on tv. They were definitely something, something to chat about the next day then ask if anything new is on tv. For Jason, he didn’t give a shit who was on stage. As long as they didn’t waste his money. Bruce wanted Jason to see the art of improv, so he took him to a live performance. Of course, Jason didn’t know that during these performances you had to stay quiet all the way through, so when the second contestant finished, he let out a loud yawn. In almost a fit of rage, people shushed him and criticized him for his manners. Jason sneered and looked at Bruce, who was just shaking his head.

In a whisper, Bruce leaned over, “These people take improv seriously. They want to get into it.” Yeah, no kidding. The lady next to Jason had been writhing and wriggling for 12 minutes and didn’t stop until she had to take her kid to the bathroom. And this was supposed to be what people liked? Found interest in?
