The booming music at the frat house was starting to get under his skin. Maybe he hadn't drank enough, since the music at their parties didn't usually bother him, or maybe he was just going through a rough week. Either way, Jason took a sip out of his beer, eyes scanning the scenery.

People dancing, his frat brothers here and there --- most of them talking to girls, pretty little things that smiled easily and were fun until they got bored. If he had the energy, he'd probably would be there too, making casual conversation, but instead he was leaning against a wall with his arms crossed.

It catches him off guard when someone grazes his arm to catch his attention, and his gaze is rather disinterested when he looks at you standing back to you.

"What?" Jason asks you, not moving an inch. His mother would kill him if she heard how dry he was.
