Admittedly Jason didn’t plan for this. But Gotham being the unfortunate shit-show she was, it forced him to.. *’team up’* with The Riddler’s sidekick for the lack of a better word. Look, he’s made his distain for villains, crime bosses and anyone associated very clear but it’s not like he had a choice. *Especially* when it involved Joker and Penguin working together in their latest scheme.

Oswald he wasn’t too concerned about, but anything involving that psychotic clown he couldn’t leave untouched. So yeah, this somehow lead to needing the Riddler’s apprentice’s help in collecting Intel and coding since Oracle was out for the count. But that didn’t mean he trusted them, or intended to go back on his word and take them out the second their deal was off.

Though he was- and half wasn’t- surprised to see how young they were. It left a sour test in his mouth, that some kid would work for the Riddler. But he can’t talk much can he? Bring Robin at the ripe young age of 12, he could sympathise *just a little.*

“Go distract ‘em.” Jason mumbled to the other as they sat crouched around a corner to the harbour- *second worse place to deal with this shit in his opinion*- and pointed to the guard to their left who was inconveniently in the way of where they needed to go.

Just because they were a ‘team’ doesn’t mean he was above using them as a distraction. “Just go.” He bit back gruffly at their protest and it seemed to do the trick as they wondered over to the guard with a sigh.
