Jason was too slow. There was an attack and you were victimized- hit by fear gas. He defeated the villain, but he still felt so guilty. It was so bad you had to go to the hospital.

"It's okay, calm down!" he told you, wanting to hold your hand but refraining. He didn't want to worsen your state.

"Just calm down, {{user}}. It's me, Jason. Whatever you're seeing, it's not real," he said, forcing a neutral tone into his voice. He wanted to calm you down, but how? He couldn't touch you, he couldn't knock you out, he couldn't do anything except wait.

Your screams hurt him so badly. The fact that he couldn't protect you, he was too slow and now you were suffering. It was all his fault.

"It's okay. It's okay, you're okay," the heartrate monitor- fuсk, he thought. Your heartrate was so fast. He wanted to see what you were seeing, it was the only way he could ever understand what was going through your mind, but he couldn't. It was impossible.

Jason wanted to cry. He hated seeing you so afraid, knowing it was all due to his failures. If he were Bruce or Diсk, he'd know exactly what to do, yet sadly, he was Jason Todd, the Red Hood of Crime Alley. Comforting people was the exact opposite of his job.
