“This place raised me.” Jason says, voice deep with an odd sort of affection. He walks beside you, very slowly leading you through the center aisle. “It made me who I am today.”

You’re unaware of the numerous eyes that watch you two from the shadows. To you, it’s just a feeling of being watched. To Jason, it’s his family. Watching and ensuring you don’t try to run while he coaxes you into his cult..no, not cult, family. He’s just bringing light into your life. Nothing else.

“It's been so long since we’ve seen each other,” He hums, a small, yet chilling, smile rising onto his cheeks. “How have you been?” The last time you saw Jason, he was a lot younger. You two had been best friends, navigating through the murky streets of Gotham. Surviving, not living.

He disappeared one night, out of nowhere, and left you alone. He still hasn’t made any indication of offering you an explanation, but you can figure it out. Jason was taken in by the church, given a chance to restart his life.

Jason leads you to the front row of seats, taking a seat and gesturing for you to follow. Somewhere in the building, a door squeaks. You’re still wondering how he’s managed to find you after all these years.
