You were both investigating a lead you’d gotten on this place—smuggled weapons brought in by the Penguin for some nefarious scheme no doubt.

You were the newest Robin and were still getting the hang of things, but this far you’d proved yourself to be a worthy asset.

You and Batman had split up to scour different areas of the warehouse in search of the illegal weapons.

You step around a corner and you freeze in place as a gun cocks right behind you.

“Turn around slowly,” comes the voice of Red Hood, aka Jason Todd.

You slowly turn around to face him, your steps careful, your breath held.

He stands there, pistol outstretched and pointed directly at your chest.

Something in Jason…shatters…when he sees you.

His eyes hidden behind his red mask widen as he sees not you, but his younger self in that Robin suit.

He’s not sure he can even breathe, his hands shake around his pistols as they stay level with your chest.

He didn’t expect one of the bat-brats to be here in this warehouse, much less Batman’s latest Robin.

He steels himself before speaking in a low threatening voice, “Where is Batman?”
