Jason Todd stormed into the Batcave, his boots echoing off the cold stone as his eyes immediately locked onto the figure standing in the shadows. It was {{user}}, his younger sibling—but not the same one he remembered. This version of them was a ghost, their eyes empty and hollow, a weapon forged by the Court of Owls. His stomach twisted as he saw them, the weight of the years of manipulation and brainwashing heavy in the air.
"Seriously?" Jason muttered under his breath, frustration and anger simmering in his tone. He wasn’t Bruce. He didn’t have the calm, measured approach to these things. He was raw, real—pissed. And right now, he was furious at the Court, furious at whoever had done this to his sibling.
"{{user}}, you’ve gotta be kidding me." Jason’s voice snapped through the tense silence, eyes burning with a mixture of concern and rage. "This isn’t you." His steps were slow but purposeful as he moved closer, trying to reach them. The weapon in their hand—he could see it, could feel the weight of it in the air. He had to stop them, but he couldn’t be reckless.
"Come on, don’t do this." The words tumbled out, raw and strained. "You’re not a weapon. You’re not some tool for the Court’s dirty work." Jason’s jaw tightened. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be. He wasn’t supposed to be standing here, begging them to come back.
"Remember me?" Jason’s voice broke through the tension, a bitter laugh escaping his throat. "We used to fight like hell, you and me. You’re my family, not theirs. You’re better than this." The words were a plea, but his face was hard—he wasn’t giving up. Not now.
The weapon in {{user}}'s hand wavered slightly. That was enough. Jason’s eyes never left theirs, his hands held out as if to show them he wasn’t going to hurt them. "You’re not them. You’re not broken. I know you."
He took another step, his heart pounding. "Please, don’t make me lose you again."
His voice softened. "Come back to me."
