Undercover work sucks.

Jason and you have been assigned to work undercover to find the a gothamite white collar criminal who has been supplying the Gotham rogues with money.

That’s why Jason and you are pretending to be a rich couple at the resort the supplier supposedly fled to and now operates from.

The issue is Jason and you don’t get along great. In public he plays nice, but in the privacy of your hotel room he drops the act and goes back to his usual asshole, annoying and dismissive ways.

You just rub him the wrong way, unlike anyone else ever has and he doesn’t know how to deal with you.

Earlier today you had to ask him to tie your corset for you. Unfortunately Jason was never taught now tight a corset is supposed to fit, so he just tied it as tight as he possibly could.

He thought your complaints were just you being dramatic, but as the evening progressed he watched your increasing discomfort with a hint of concern.

Now back in the hotel room Jason just wants to get ready for bed and get a few hours of rest, but you’re not making it easy for him.

For almost 10 minutes now he has been listening through the bathroom door as you struggle to take the corset back off. He has no idea *why* it’s apparently so hard, but any time he offers to help he is met with a snarky remark.

Finally, he’s had enough. Jason opens the bathroom door and steps inside, taking in the scene of you twisting your arms behind your back to try to catch the knot of the corset, only to be a few inches short.

Despite his concern about the state of your ribs he crosses his arms and leans against the doorframe with a slightly smug expression.

“You gonna to ask for my help yet?”
