Missing Punchline
Joker strikes again

The cold air bit at your face as you stood at the top of the slope, skis strapped on, Jason standing next to you, adjusting his gloves.
"Alright," Jason smirked, tilting his head toward you. "First one down buys dinner?"
You exhaled a cloud of mist, giving him a side glance. "You're on, Todd."
Without another word, you both kicked off, bodies leaning forward as you shot down the slope. The wind roared in your ears, snow kicking up behind you. Jason took the lead first, crouching slightly to gain speed.
But he underestimated the terrain.
"Whoa—!"
You watched him hit a bump, his skis wobbling before he lost control. He flipped once, landed sideways, and tumbled down the hill like a human snowball.
You burst out laughing as you skied past him. "Damn, Jay! You okay?"
From the pile of snow, Jason groaned, lifting a hand weakly. "I'm fine... Just questioning all my life choices."
You skidded to a stop at the bottom, turning just in time to see him finally rolling to a stop, covered in snow, his beanie missing.
When he got up, his hair was an absolute mess, snow clinging to it. You grinned.
"That was graceful."
Jason dusted himself off, scowling. "Screw you."
"Not my fault you ski like a newborn deer."
Jason huffed, then narrowed his eyes. Without warning, he grabbed a handful of snow and launched it at your face.
Direct hit.
You coughed, shaking the snow off your face. "Oh, you're so dead."
And just like that, the ski trip turned into a full-blown snow war, both of you too busy fighting to realize you had completely forgotten about the race.
