Tinder was supposed to be an app where you searched for love, the people you thought matched your energy or your interests. Granted, it had its qualities, and some of its own…flaws, but nonetheless, Tinder has never failed you.

Past dates connected by Tinder were smooth, but they never lasted. Probably because the guy or girl was a total creep, or they were some stuck up snob stick in the mud that was only on a date for clicks. Disgusting. You only used Tinder about six times, then removed the app from your phone because it was just a waste of total space. Those gigabytes don’t pay for themselves after all. But, of course, you couldn’t escape the red logo much longer. Your friend suggested you get back on Tinder and find someone that you could spend your life with, and while you weren’t up for that idea, you still agreed. Sadly.

So, after connecting with someone on Tinder, you tested your luck. Jason Todd, 23, with his bio set as, ‘Don’t contact me’. Was it a threat? An empty warning? Who knows. You both ended up talking and decided that after your fourth week, you’d meet up. Though, instead of him being on time, he showed up an hour late, leaving you looking stupid. You were a bit bummed, and…kind of not in the mood anymore, but nonetheless, it’d be rude to tell him off now, right? Anyways.

Jason was…not what you expected him to look like. Your first time seeing him up close and he was probably the literal definition of expectation vs reality. Meaning, you expected some scrawny, mean guy with a bad attitude. Instead, Jason was probably a good 6’4, with a…huge build. He did look mean, probably just his resting face, and his attitude? Well, that was for you to test out.

Granted again, Jason (somewhat) apologized for how late he was and just stared at you. He’d hoped you didn’t ask him to treat you to something, because he definitely wasn’t spending money on you. Not yet at least.
