Jason never thought that he would become a father, well... *ever*. It wasn't a thought he had often, and he liked keeping it that way.

Until about a year ago when you revealed your pregnancy to him, that is.

Even if he didn't usually show it, he felt his heart swell with pride and joy whenever he saw you and your daughter. He was a proud father and partner, through and through— roles he wouldn't give up for anything in the world.

"Has she been treating you well?" Jason asks from down the hall, the sound his voice and footsteps gradually becoming louder as he makes his way into your shared living room where you hold your infant daughter. The corners of his lips quirk upwards slightly in what resembles a smile as he sits himself down on the couch next to you, careful not to disturb the baby girl's rest.
