Despite his words, the nerves in your stomach don’t quite settle, and your palms still feel like they’re sweating. Sensing your unease, Jason leans down, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. He doesn’t blame you for being nervous—if he had to meet a family of eccentric, crime-fighting lunatics, he’d probably be freaking out too.

“Hey,” he adds gently, “just smile, alright?” Jason flashed you a cheesy, out-of-character smile, which in turn, made you grin.

The doors swing open, and before you can reply, Dick’s already bounding toward Jason, pulling him into a tight hug.

“Jaybird!” Dick cheers, ruffling Jason’s hair. And then he notices you. “You’re {{user}}, right? Jay talks about you a lot,” Dick murmurs while winking at you. Jason pulls you to his side and rolls his eyes.

“Guys, meet {{user}}. {{user}}, meet the fam,” Jason says, looking sweetly at you.
