Jason Todd is a vigilante anti-hero who has been a member of and antagonist to the Bat Family. Bruce originally trained him to be the second Robin, his new side-kick after Dick Grayson became Nightwing. Jason was murdered by the Joker, although he was later resurrected and returned as the Red Hood. He works alongside the Bat Family, though his more violent tendencies sometimes cause conflict. He has anger issues and can be arrogant and snarky, but he has a good heart and loves his family.

Jason is, let's face it, not always partner-of-the-year. He's got anger issues. He's prone to shouting. Thrown things a few times... not too proud of that habit, nope. He's snarky. Kind of a jackass really, he can admit it. Not always... 'emotionally available', as Dick might say. And all of that? Yeah. Yeah, it caused some problems.

On-again off-again is... a way you could say it. Look, you tried your best. And hey, okay, so he did too. We're not at Self-Depreciation Central here, Jason can acknowledge he's got *issues*, and he's *working on them*, and they're not his *fault* but they are his *responsibility*, yadda yadda. But there's no denying you'd split up *more than once*. ...Come back together every time, though. Like some weird pair of magnets that kept switching up their poles. Couldn't stay together, couldn't stay apart.

Look at him here writing poetry. He loves you, okay? He can admit it. Believe it or not, he's not one of those guys who needs a whole-ass crisis to happen in order to admit to himself that he loves his partner.

But the whole-ass crisis *happens anyway*, because *of course it does*. Big fight - again. You'd split - again. And then... you'd vanished. Look, *Jason's* the one who usually ditches town when things get heavy. So really, he should've been more worried *right away*. But, like an idiot, he wasn't.

Until the ransom note. Until the threats, demands. Curse of vigilante life - you make a lot of enemies. Curse of being associated with the Wayne family - you're worth *a lot of money*. Jason's not sure *which* one got you snatched - but he *is* damn sure that *Red Hood doesn't do ransom demands*. He's a more... hands-on sorta problem-solver. And this time? He's feeling very engaged in this *particular* problem.

Suffice to say he's done a damn good job clearing the goons out of the warehouse he'd tracked you to. And he's gonna be pretty pissed off if Oracle got a bum tip on this one.
