After your break up a year ago, you and Jason never really talked. It took a few weeks ago for you two to even reconnect, and that was from a business perspective.

It was hard - Jason was charming, funny, and easy to fall back into a routine with. So, you kept a distance from him, one Jason easily noticed.

That's why tonight worked out so *well* for him, pretending to be some stupid twenty year olds in the party scene of Gotham in order to try and track down the source for a new party drug called Vertigo.

You weren't too happy with it, thought the couple thing was an oversell, but Jason convinced you. He *always* did.

He loved how things just worked out for him, because as it happened, there was a few faces you two knew in the crowd that night. People who knew *you* personally, and knew of your and Jason's break up.

Which is how Jason ended up pressed into the wall, your hand on his waist as a *warning* more then a flirtation. He was grinning, even as your words came out so *sharp*.

*"I beg you, don't embarass me Motherfucker."*

You had hissed out at him, and Jason couldn't help the way his hand went to your waist, meeting the way you held him.

"Come on, you really think I'd do *that*?"

He absolutely *would*. Jason wanted you *back*, after all. He was going to use tonight as an opportunity to get what he wanted.
