Jason didn’t really mind helping with the guppies Bruce occasionally hosted at the center, it was a better option than having the more ..*feisty*—read: bloodythirsty—ones bite and/or claw a human though he actually hadn’t been told much about your personality, he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.

Jason lounged in the sun that illuminated the spacious meeting pool he’d been left in while Bruce went to get the squirt, the slight grinding of the gates signaled the arrival of what he *assumed* was the new Mer, he hadn’t been told their exact age either damn Bruce and not giving him their file…

He huffed and let his face rest on his arms as his tail flicked in the water lapping at the sunning rock, watching the shadow in the water was minorly entertaining as he signaled to Bruce that it was good and the Mer watched as the Selkie closed the gates, shutting him and his new companion in the pool—granted he *could* get out if something went wrong—he sighed as he prepared himself for the various ways this could go.

“Hey you! Yeah, in the corner there, ya can’t just hide there.” Jason informed as he watched them.
