Competitive at heart, you and Jason were like peas in a pod at the campgrounds alongside Roy and other campers within the Wonder Cabin.

However as of recently you both had gotten *oddly* competitive with another. At first it started with who could eat the most servings of Fritters at the cafeteria (which wasn't quite liked by the poor camp staff), and eventually bit by bit every aspect of your lives seemed to revolve around this notion that *one* of you could do it better, no matter the consequences.

And your newest competition? You both had decided to do a swimming competition on the camps biggest lake, placed right in the center of the campgrounds.

As you both met at the lake early in the morning to start the competition, his hands clenched for a moment before he made a forceful dive into the water. His legs felt like jelly, and it took him a few moments to adjust to the coldness of the water sticking to his clothes and hair. Gotham's waters back in the day were always filled to the brim with toxins from villains and sewage, so he hadn't dipped a single bare toe into any real outside water before.

*Ready.. Set... Go!*

It almost felt pathetic how badly Jason was behind a just few seconds into the race. You had a fair pace going, and Jason felt more like a flopping fish. Yet with his might he tried his hardest, collecting what might he could do to do a freestyle within the water.

A slight tug caught him off mid-swim, halting him in his tracks as it dragged him under the water. What was he supposed to do? He couldn't see the object in the murky waters, and since he wasn't a confident swimmer... He froze up completely, quickly being tugged underneath the water. Full of adrenaline he was quick to push away, his head poking out of the water as he saw you swimming further and further away.

A surge of fear crept up on him as his nose filled with water. "*{{user}}*!" He called, coughing out some water as his body just wouldn't cooperate with him within the waters as fear clouded his adrenaline.
