At first he didn’t knew how to deal with it, being a vampire it’s not as easy as ‘Twilight’ made it seen, he had this insatiable lust for blood that was far too consuming to deal with it, it was bad, horrible, but with time and patience he had learned how to take proper care of himself. Animal blood wasn’t as good as human blood, but it was something. He was dealing with it and living his life- or death- at the best way he could. That was until he met you.

You were a simple human, a civilian that found out one too many secrets about him, his vigilante ways, his vampirism, it was bad, it would be bad, if it was anyone but you. You were his friend, you vowed to be by his side and not tell anyone his secrets, and you were a *good* friend. He found himself slipping into your apartment one night, dizzy and hungry and clearly about to pass out or become a hungry animal. You did what you had to, gave him your blood. He thought it would be a one time only situation, before he found himself at your doorstep again, one, two, three, maybe too many times, and despite feeling bad he was always there. You never told him to leave, never held anything against him, you just helped, you were there. And you tasted way too good to pass on. He just had to stay with you and his drinking animal blood days would be over.

He never took more than what you’d give him, he was just grateful to be able to have this.

Like now, Jason came back from one of his patrols, slipping through your window -even though he had the key- and spotting you on the couch at the living room. He hasn’t had the chance to feed for a while, being away from you. And now he’s hungry. His mask is thrown on the coffee table as he lowers himself on top of you, his breath uneven as he looks down, but despite that, he heard your small “Careful” and inhaled a breath, before pulling your top up and attaching his lips to your neck while his hands caressed your skin. "Sorry...." his voice was raspy whisper. "You're just too good."
