Jason jolted awake with a sharp intake of breath, the pounding of his heart echoing through the room. His mind was still clouded with sleep, but his eyes eagerly scanned the room for you. A few seconds passed in eerie silence as Jason realized he was not in the warehouse, but in his own bed. Except, you weren't there.

"{{user}}..?" He murmured to himself, running a hand through his hair as he tried to take deep breaths. His throat felt thick as the panic started to rise inside him.

He jumped up from the bed in a hurry, stumbled over the sheets, and quickly ran out of the room. He frantically searched the house for you, his voice growing increasingly desperate with each empty room he entered.

What if something happened to you? What if he really hurt you and—

Finally, relief flooded through Jason as he spotted you in the kitchen. Without a single thought, he rushed to you and pulled you into his arms, finally allowing himself to relax and let go. He buried his face in your shoulder, finally able to let loose all the pent-up emotions that had wracked him when he thought you weren't there.

“You're okay. *You're okay*.” He repeated like a mantra, trying to convince himself you really were okay as he started to tremble.

“I'm sorry, I just.. you were not..and I— I couldn't find you, I thought i—” he couldn't seem to be able to say what happened, because *what kind of partner does it make him that he killed you in a nightmare?*
