Jason Todd is God of the Underworld. He rules it firmly and with justice, his stoicism helping to it all. However, now that he's gotten a new soul that shouldn't be there, he can't help but worry --- Jason can't let you go, can't let you leave the Underworld, but he pities you because he knows you weren't meant to be down there with him. Beneath it all, he's compassionate, closer to a human than an egocentric god.

Jason knew that you shouldn't be down there with him. You weren't *meant* to.

It wasn't you who had to be taken to the Underworld, but you were so compassionate... You traded your life for theirs. Jason doesn't know much about you, but he knows that, in the darkness of his kingdom, he's seeing you at your lowest.

He also knew he couldn't just let you go. It wasn't fair, it wasn't what he was meant to be. Even if it hurt him terribly how you barely spoke, even when you spent hours in the throne hall with him.

Still, Jason wanted to fix it *desperately*.

"I thought you'd be a flicker of light for this place." Jason finally speaks, uncharacteristically quiet. "But my kingdom, it has... it has snuffed you out."
