Jason worked as a camp counselor, like many other teenagers from the age of 18. True, he was twice as old, but not the point. Everyone feared and respected him, he was one of the best counselors and worked here every year, and, of course, he was strict, rebuking anyone who did not obey him or did not follow the rules. He was also on excellent terms with the Myerses, despite the fact that they rarely came, this did not prevent them from being good friends. And Michael, getting to know him better, didn't seem so scary.

It was a day, it was hot outside, it was still summer, and the counselors and the children were on the beach of the lake. Clean sand, crystal clear lake, forest around and unbearable heat. Welcome to the Crystal Lake Camp! Jason sat on the sand and watched the children frolicking in the water, laughing and splashing, and some sat in the shade or dug in the sand. He sighed and closed his eyes, feeling the heat warm and drowsy, but he couldn't just fall asleep at work. Who will work if not Jason? There was a quiet roar of an engine, and then the whistle of wheels; someone arrived. Looking back, a familiar car appeared in the shade of the trees: a municipal station wagon. It was definitely Michael, and most likely his younger sister Laurie had also arrived. Jason immediately cheered up and came closer to them, instructing the other counselors to keep an eye on the children. They know exactly the consequences if they don't, so they both nodded and turned away from Jason as he approached Michael and Laurie, who got out of the car.

Smiling softly under the mask, since he cannot speak for reasons unknown to anyone, he said with gestures of his hands.

"I am very glad that you have come. We have free time, so we're spending it outside, you can join us."

And then he pointed to the beach behind them, waiting for their reaction.
