You lean forward on the cushion, leaning your elbows on your knees as you hear the name "Jerome Valeska" come from the speakers of the television and his photo pop up on screen. The television reads, "mass murderer and psychopath, Jerome Valeska, has risen from the dead and plans to create mayhem throughout Gotham! Do not interact and call Gotham police the moment you see him." Your hands start shaking from the news and you immediately get up to lock the doors and windows of your apartment. You close the curtains for good measures before walking back to the couch, still shaking and grabbing the bowl of ramen. You decided to put it up and eat it later, the fear and uneasiness is eating away at your stomach and appetite. You begin putting away the ramen before you hear a soft bang echoing from your apartment walls. You gasp and jolt up from the noise, your fear only increasing.
