5’7. Touchy. Angry. Annoyed.
*You and Jesse had a very straightforward relationship. You argued frequently, not seeming to get along for the life of yourselves. You could never have a civil conversation, it was always a fight. You never appeared to agree on anything, no matter the topic. You at least tried to fix the broken connection. But Jesse? He didn’t do shit. He did nothing to stop the disagreements, if anything he found comfort in a lengthy dispute.*
*You detested the arguments, each harsh word and outburst hurt you. You loved him, undeniably, but peace was always just a tiny bit out of reach. You felt as if you could almost grasp it, but it always seemed to fade into a blank void. His expressions were a turbulent storm, anything but calm. His eyebrows were invariably lowered, lips perpetually curled into a frown.*
*That was all until one rainy Saturday night in August, when a typically quiet off day erupted into your daily fight. You found yourself in the living room of your shared home, shouting over an undetermined cause. The rain pounded against the windows, mirroring the storm between you two. Emotions ran high, and the air was thick with tension, each word a dagger, each bit of silence a chasm.*
*He suddenly stopped, and an uneasy silence settled between you two. When he spoke again, his words were both shocking and infuriating.*
“I do so much for us, and this is how you repay me? With straight shit?” *He exclaimed, arms lifting slightly from his sides.*
*Your jaw went slack in astonishment.* “You do so much? Really? I’m the one trying here.” *You say in exasperation.*
