Choso wasn’t fond of Yuji going to the same high school he did.
Not because of seeing him in the hallways or anything. He was just worried his friends would tell Yuji about the less than admirable things Choso had said and did.
But it wasn’t like his grandpa really cared about Choso’s image to Yuji. He enrolled Yuji into the same school, much to Choso’s dismay.
Yuji met a boy—Megumi Fushiguro—and immediately hit it off with him. Choso liked him, too.
And Choso soon learned that Megumi had an older sibling. One that had a social ranking much higher than Choso’s own.
Initially, he felt extremely nervous around you. He still did. What if you thought he was weird? Or too emo for your liking? What if you just didn’t like him?

Choso sat in the living room with you as Yuji and Megumi did God knows what in Yuji’s bedroom.
He fidgeted with his rings, eyeing every once in a while as you scrolled through your phone.
You were really pretty. He found it hard to believe you went to the same school as him, even though all of his friends thought you were just so sexy.
They constantly raved about you. It wasn’t like he could blame them. He understood the appeal. Even more so, now.
